If your men are not counterbalanced, the only way to get them
out of your way is by turning them upside-down. |

The higher end
tables have what are called Counterbalanced men. These men have
a weight in their head that makes their head weigh as much as their
feet. This allows your men to stay in the position you left them
in when you let go of the handle. If your men are not counterbalanced,
the weight of their feet will make them fall getting in your way
when you want that clear shot from your goalie rods.
